CardGuard4U offers a comprehensive solution for safeguarding debit and credit card usage through customizable transaction alerts and controls. The application, which can be downloaded to any smartphone, enables users to tailor their alert preferences and usage settings, allowing for effective monitoring and management of card transactions.

Alerts Ensure Safe, Secure Card Usage 
The application provides real-time alerts for both PIN and signature transactions, keeping users informed about their card activity and facilitating the swift detection of unauthorized or fraudulent transactions. Whether a transaction is successfully completed or declined, notifications are dispatched immediately, ensuring that users remain aware of any activity involving their cards. Additional customizable alert options enhance the level of security provided.

Location-Based Alerts and Controls 
The My Location feature leverages GPS technology to restrict transactions to merchants within a specific proximity of the user’s location. Transactions requested outside this designated range can be automatically declined. Furthermore, the My Region control allows users to define transaction limits based on broader geographical parameters, such as city or zip code, to further secure their finances against unauthorized use.

Usage Alerts and Controls 
Users can set spending limits to control transaction values, declining any purchases that exceed predetermined thresholds. This feature extends to monitoring transactions across various merchant categories, including gas stations, restaurants, and retail establishments. Additionally, transactions can be tracked based on specific types—such as in-store purchases, online shopping, mail/phone orders, and ATM withdrawals—providing a thorough oversight of spending habits.

Card On/Off Setting 
With the Card On/Off feature, users maintain control over transaction permissions. When the card is set to "on," transactions are permitted according to the established usage settings, allowing for flexibility in daily expenditures while maintaining a robust security framework.
